This site is a tribute to Sybil Fryer. She is much loved and will always be remembered as a loving wife to George and the best Mum to her children, George and Lesley. She was a devoted Grandmother to Sophia, Jordan and Samantha. She was a very active member of the Walmersley community, running the local Greengrocers shop. She was a founder member of the Glorybutts drama group, a reader for the newspaper for the blind and involved in setting up the carers support group in Bury. She was an active member of Christ Church, Walmersley as a member of the congregation and served on the P.C.C. for many years. She was a member of the Young Wives Group followed by the Mothers Union and was always ready to help with all events at the church always supported by her husband, George.She loved arts and crafts, so her hands were never still.
